Newly appointed ambassador to the United Nations Teodoro "Teddyboy" Locsin lashed out on Senator Leila de Lima after she made claims about the importance of legal steps in the Senate hearing on extrajudicial killings linked to President Rodrigo Duterte's drug war.

Locsin, in an interview with CNN, said he was not able to control himself from badmouthing the senator because he did not believe that she had the credibility to speak of legal procedure. “I have stood by De Lima. I like her feistiness, true, but she’s the last person to do that. The Supreme Court issued a TRO (temporary restraining order) allowing GMA (former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo) to go [abroad] but she spat on it,” he said. Locsin in his Twitter account, replied to a live tweet from Inquirer which spoke of De LIma saying warrantless arrest can be done if suspect is caught in the act of doing his crime.

Locsin cursed at De Lima in response, saying: “Ah, shut the f*ck up, you fat bitch. GMA had a TRO from the Supreme Court and you spat on it".

De Lima, a former Justice Secretary, stopped former President Gloria Arroyo from leaving the country despite being granted a TRO by the Supreme Court during President Benigno Aquino III's term. MJM
