Tourism Undersecretary Kat de Castro defended President Rodrigo Duterte from his critics upon posting a direct-to-the-point message on Facebook last October 3.
The Facebook status stated, “Damn if you do, damn if you don’t. Some people can’t stop being negatrons. If you think you can do better than the President, takbo kayo sa 2022 ha?”
De Castro also answered a netizen who criticized Duterte for saying sorry after his controversial speech where he said that he can act like Hitler in his fight against illegal drugs.
Adolf Hitler was a dictator way back World War II and was the reason for the death of million Jews. The said speech was picked up by the international media which gained negative reactions from the Jewish community. But right after issue, President Duterte apologized for his words.
